FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS
Terms & Conditions
Effective 24 October 2026
These terms explain how Kiddoh works for families. A parent or legal guardian should review them before creating a family account.
1. The grown-up account
Kiddoh is designed for children and is intended to be set up and managed by an adult parent or legal guardian. The adult who creates the account is responsible for the account, child profiles, keeping sign-in details private, and supervising the child’s use of Kiddoh.
Create a profile only for a child you are authorized to represent. A nickname may be used instead of a full name. Grown-up settings are protected by a separate grown-up password.
2. Videos and YouTube
Kiddoh uses a child’s selected age group and the available video categories to find and present videos through YouTube’s player. Age-based search and filtering help guide recommendations, but they cannot guarantee that every video is suitable for every child. Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding whether a child should use Kiddoh and for supervising viewing.
Kiddoh uses YouTube API Services. By using Kiddoh, you agree to be bound by YouTube’s Terms of Service. YouTube controls its own services, video availability, player features and any advertising it may provide.
3. Free trial and Kiddoh Plus
A new account starts with a three-day free trial from account creation. When the trial ends, the account can still open Kiddoh; some viewing access may require a paid plan.
Kiddoh Plus is prepaid for the number of months selected at checkout, currently from one to twelve months. The current price and full total are shown before payment. The plan does not automatically renew; it ends on its displayed expiry date unless a grown-up chooses and pays for another term.
4. Payments
Payments may be offered through M-Pesa or a card/bank checkout provider. The provider processes the payment under its own terms and privacy practices. Kiddoh records the payment reference, amount, selected term and payment status so it can confirm and manage the subscription.
For a payment question or refund request, contact Kiddoh at kiddohflix@gmail.com. Your rights under applicable consumer and payment laws continue to apply.
5. Family settings and screen-time tools
A grown-up can set viewing categories, daily time limits and sleep hours. These preferences and watch-time totals are stored on the device or browser where Kiddoh is used; they do not provide a complete cross-device viewing history. Keep the device clock and grown-up password secure, and do not rely on these tools as a substitute for supervision.
6. Using Kiddoh responsibly
Use Kiddoh lawfully and for personal family viewing. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to access another family’s account, or misuse another person’s information. Do not use Kiddoh in a way that violates the terms of YouTube or another provider.
7. Availability and changes
Kiddoh needs an internet connection for account services and video discovery. Videos, recommendations, features and availability can change when YouTube or other providers change their services. We may pause access where needed for safety, security, legal reasons or a serious breach of these terms. We may update Kiddoh or these terms; the effective date above shows when this version took effect. Nothing in these terms limits a right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
